Applications

Ultrasound has been successfully used in a variety of industrial, commercial and recreational areas. From the treatment of drinking water, reservoirs, cooling towers, pools and stormwater retention ponds and irrigation in agriculture and horticulture. Ultrasound is being used as a replacement for antifouling on ships and yachts and to treat diesel bugs in storage tanks. It has even been installed in airports to help scare birds from runways.

With dramatic reductions in expensive and sometimes environmentally harmful chemicals ultrasound usually easily repays its costs in a matter of months.

We have examples where the use of chlorine to purify water has been able to be reduced by very substancial amounts and sometimes altogether.

Ultrasound represents a truly environmental solution for environmental problems.
